we are now redesigning our rental catalogue and setting up the new website.

can we use the "macdaddy" picture as we donīt have any other shot to show the product?
shall we implement credits "shot by jarred land of reduser.net" in the photo?

also, does red wishes/allows/forbids to have its logo besides their products?

that would be interesting information to know.

As I guess many of us are planning to promote our future reds these days, it would be really helpfull to have some guidelines as to how we can use the images and framegrabs.

In an earlier thread Jim stated we could use the photos and Logo as long as we credited Red as copyright holder and linked www.red.com.

That's great news. Hopefully our websites will help the Red name spread more quickly. This is exciting guys, we're getting our cameras very soon!

Yes, as long as we link it.....its okay. What Jim doesn't want is to make it seem like RED is directly endorsing us.. so no to using RED logo, for example, on your business card.

"Use on website with link to www.red.com is OK.

No to business cards, stationary and t-shirts.
