Only decode support right now and not likely to change anytime soon but still extremely helpful. ProRes has really become an essential codec in our pipeline and now we can swap files with all you folks from the dark side.

As a bonus, Apple promises even more gamma hell as we swap between Mac and PC. :blink:

Awesome!! Can this transcode to any useful intermediate or editing codecs?

If you have Quicktime Pro or Compressor you could probably transcode it to something like H.264 or whatever else you have you just can't encode anything else into Pro Res.
I'd have tried it myself but I found it a too much of a pain to track down a decent sized Pro Res clip on Red User last night.
