alright so i'm sick of staring at this camera for so many months, i'm thinking of going for it and leasing a red one....a problem, what if i live in canada and want to lease through a company here? will their be red distributers in canada? how to do this?

If you want to buy a camera, you must do so through RED. They can ship to Canada, as long as you pay whatever taxes may apply.
As for leasing, that's up to you. Contact your favorite bank or loan shark and do what you need to do. RED offers no deferred payment or leasing options.

through my company, i'm just confused though how they would give me a lease since they have to deal with someone outside Canada. i got a lease with them before for a panny but that was through a company named vistek which is in canada. any info?

There are plenty of corporate leasing companies here in Canada.
I would try Irwin Financial (formerly OnSet Capital...talk to Christina Park), Pemberton Leasing (talk to Mike Bochen)...there are many more but I have had great experience with both companies.
