Nikon Lens Adapter to Canon EOS

has anyone used something like this on the RED? say i have a canon birger mount and buy this to throw my nikons on without replacing the mount... would this work? would it be thrown out of focus because of increased distance? or would it just throw the witness marks off?

i don't have that exact one but I have something similar and it works fine on my 5D. the flange focal distance is longer on the nikons than the canons which makes it in theory fine.

I haven't used the kind that trick the canon so you can see the red focus square, but I have used the all mechanical adapters on a birger mount many times with Nikon, contax/yashica zeiss, and pentax M42 and all work fine.

Thats cool to know. It was mainly this one i was on about, Nikon to PL adapter.
