A,B, C keys programmability

Trying to scout the Red Manual and forum - did I miss out on how the A,B,C keys can be programed? I can only do the 1-5 keys. Lim

Go into the menue which you want to attach to the A,B or C button, and then press the desired button a couple of seconds like you do it on a Car Radio to store a frequency.
