- using a Astro 3004 through the HD-SDI OUTPUT IF USABLE, is it a convenient way of getting precise informations about the signal(especially exposition) even when filming in red code raw?
- when in Red Code Raw for filming, is it a reliable way of getting "dpx" file to go into a grading station like a "Lustre"
- if using Nikon lenses with the adaptor, do they cover entirely the 4K format, I guess so, but depending on how the adaptor is made( easy install or not)
same question for the B4 mount and the 2K with Zeiss digiprimes?
- are the red disks(the HD 320 giga) firewire for easy and fast duplicating and is it possible to back up immediately on LTO 03

You can open up your footage in the REDCine software, and then export DPX from there.

Yes, Nikon lenses do cover the whole 4k frame. The adaptor doesn't change the image at all, it's just a lens mount. The B4 mount on the other hand blows up the image for the 2K frame.
