Posts in the Apple Workflow forum claim success. I've played with it a little myself and not come across any problems.

I had problems with FCP Log and Transfer crashing when trying to load a clip. It was P2 footage, not RED, but I'm not sure it matters if you can't even load clips.

Do you by any chance have FxFactory 1.0 installed?
There are known conflicts between it and the L&T plugins.
