If I purchase a used RED from an existing customer, will the Epic upgrade program be available to me?

I was wondering the same thing. Is there a definite answer yet at this point?

Will people be able to buy multiple cameras when their number comes up? Will there be a five-camera limit like the RED ONE?

Is there a 5 camera limit on RED ONE? Didn't know that.

There was on original orders... no more than 5 reservations.

I just know that there are a lot of people who bought one RED ONE early in the game who will certainly be interested in more than one Epic. It'd be a bummer to have to wait until after thousands of them have shipped to get a second camera.

Well I have invested in three RED's right now and will upgrade all of them to Epic, but I would love to get more than three when Epic comes.

Brook... point well taken. One solution is for us to quit screwing around with production. We have cost ourselves and customers way too much time getting cameras out the door, mainly do to RED ONE design decisions we should not have made... just because we didn't know better.

I think we have learned from our design mistakes (as in making the RED ONE difficult to manufacture- not perform badly) and EPIC will go much better. I'm sure of it. None of us likes the fact that customers are waiting so long to get a camera from the time they place an order. I think a one month from place order to ship is reasonable. 10 months isn't.

I'll be damned....you guys really do listen.

I'm very impressed at the acknowledgement of the shortcomings.

Jim, you could teach "GW" a thing or two.....lol....

I really do like what I hear.

Sounds like a good deal, Jim.

You also avoided answering my question very well... :)

Even though I'm relatively low on the list (1108) unless you can really pump out the cameras, I think you should only sell 1:1 for RED One's until everyone has had a chance. Brook, there are tons of people that will rent you a second Epic if you need one more :) Personally I think if you allow people to buy as many as they want, you'll see way more people trying to hawk them on ebay for a quick buck (not saying Brook would do that, just saying I think it would happen)
