Warranty policy......?

Is there any news yet of RED's Warranty Policy on the camera & sensor.
Will the camera body & sensor be covered by different warranties....??

I think this is a good question. In addition to this (and related) I would wonder what the outlook for repair service would be. For example, if a camera takes a dive during a shoot - let's say it breaks in some manner - even if it is the fault of the crew... a camera replacement would still be needed. With the supply of RED's being so limited, would it be possible even to replace one?

This is something that's still being worked on. Long story short: don't worry, you'll be treated right.

I'm going to lock this thread not because there's anything wrong with it but because there are many threads on this [and similar] subject[s] already and the boards are already full of enough threads to keep my hands full. This has nothing to do with the appropriateness of the thread, its location or its subject.

More information when it's available.
