Gamma changes everywhere

So far I thought that every tweak I do in red alert is reflected in the proxies accordingly, except for the curves.

but now when I use a different output lut say REDspace instead of rec709, this change is not in the proxies.

I deleted the RSX and created a new one. Same with the proxies. used rushes and alert.

or does it not just pass through to the proxies???

There is a restriction in the RED QuickTime Codec:

Certain settings from RED Alert! generated QuickTime reference movies will not transfer, including: Curve, Color Space, Gamma Space, DRX. Transcoded QuickTime movies generated by RED Alert! or REDCINE do not have this restriction.

That is why changing the LUt will not take effect on your quicktime proxys.

So is it fixed REC709 or based on the metadata from the original in-camera take?
