All you "soon to be" RED ONE owners... If you have an HVX or HVX package you want to sell, list it here.
You know you won't ever touch your HVX again once you get your RED ONE. So, when you do get your RED ONE, please consider selling us your HVXs. I want one to use to earn money to buy my own RED someday. Thanks!

Do a reduser search for this post topic - it's been posted several times already. I watched the first one and it was like an ebay auction during the closing minutes. Cameras were popping up for sale across the planet with, "PM me" responses. It was like a fire sale.

I will be selling mine, no doubt about it, not until I get the RedOne though, which should be around August I assume

About 4k, but im sure that'll drop significantly over the next year. Especially when the POCKET RED comes out.

Get this . . . I'm actually going to have to dump my nearly new, $15,000 DSR450 2/3" camera to buy a used HVX200! I'll be using the HVX pretty much as a "crash camera" to intercut with RED footage (hope it cuts okay).

If it does intercut well, What would that say about the RED?:)
I'll be selling my HD200U a year from now, which is when I think I'll get my RED. And to think that I had the chance to be one of the early reservation holders....I could've been a contender, I could've been somebody...

I wouldn't sell anything... I've made a lot on rentals and shooting small projects on my DVXs (that I rarely use). Remember not all productions will be able to afford our shinny new RED cameras.

You can actually buy it new on ebay for around $3,500.

Yes you can. It's gray market, so no warranty, but I've confirmed with a few people who did order from the ebay vendors and did get a shiny new HVX.
