Hey.

Im currently on a feature (as DIT) and want to upgrade to build 17 to maybe avoid allot of freezing and stuck in post. Will I have any problems with RA/RR v3.50 and build 17? Rendertime, quality etc. (4K 2:1 -> ProResSQ 1920x817)

Have tested b17 this weekend and it seems to work fine camerawise.

I posted another thread but it seems B17 clips don't work in REDrush, neither.

B17 works great (1 playback bug) - love the new 4K HD and the RAW meter... I use RC without any problems...

I don't think upgrading the camera will help your post hang ups, that sounds more like a post hardware upgrade is needed. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post though?
