Trevor, there are early webisodes that were shot with an HVX/Mini35 combo, I believe. I bought webisode 1 probably 9 months ago.

From my checking of what I Tivo'd last night vs. that episode I bought a while back, what was aired last night included material that was reshot with the Red.

Yes, as far as I know, the webisode content was completely re-shot on the RED. The higher quality of the image and the ease of keying made it worth it to the producers.

Just watching this on ITV4 in the UK (monday nights at 21:00) and was glad to see how well it stood up to a lot of other American tv drama shot on 35mm. In particular I could swear the close-ups look perceivably sharper and more detailed (even on my SD CRT) than most stuff I see. Congratulations again - I think it's a great advert for Red (and a first of course...)

Okay, I managed to catch the tail-end of the repeat of the pilot the other night and in HD no less. Some shots definitely had a little bit of that RED look that snuck past the heavy post manipulation but for the most part, I couldn't really tell it was RED unless I was looking closely for specific things though the clarity and sharpness I saw was awesome to say the least. The only thing that I didn't really like was some of the VFX work I managed to see. Namely some of the synthetic environment shots that looked a little bit too synthetic but at this stage, it's just growing pains.
