Just posted a reasonable request for information regarding transefering lens reservations that I had previously searched for and was unable to find a satisfactory answer. this has now been closed without a satifactory answer.

Whilst I understand that there are alot of threads generated on this site I don't expect this kind of reposnse when posting a reasonable request, so I shall not waste anymore of your valuable time and go direct to Red.

You're question has already been answered...

You will be receiving an email within a week or so asking whether or not you'd like to swap your reservation over to the 18-50......

Further, remember, your deposit is always refundable so, yes your deposit should be transferable to either the prime or zoom.

I have ordered a red zoom (number 14) some time ago. Now i have to decide whether to switch over to the 18mm-50mm zoom or stick with the original zoom. Trouble is i dont know if the original zoom is still on track!

When we receive our email asking us if we would like to switch, when must we reply to this email. It would have been nice to get some feedback from the red zoom testing BEFORE one considers transfering over.

Is there a deadline or timescale to transfering, will a delayed reply affect our position in line or is it going to be when your camera is ready.

Also the breatHing issue that has cropped up with the red zoom 18mm-50mm. Is this ONLY when close focused?

Sorry for questions but it is a big decision to make:umm:
