Hello,
Awhile back...probably a year ago, I asked on the 'old red forum' about offices in Europe for Red.
It may have been my imagination, or wishful thinking, but I could have sworn that Jim said that they have or will have an office in Prague where people could potentially pick up their cameras vs. having them shipped from the states.
Can Jim, or someone else put an official word on (any) European offices for Red?
Peace

Sorry to be pedantic, but I think it's spelt "Prague"? :whistling:
Or maybe it's just spelt differently in Hungary?

Just spelt that way in dalen land. ;)
Sorry about that, felt something was wrong with it. - kind of tired and I have 2 languages bouncing around in my head.
And it may be spelt that way here, who knows.
Vienna = Wien = Becs
Hungary = Ungarn = Magyarorszag...
So many different names for the same place. :)
The only native english speakers in this city are my family members...everyone else is Hungarian...and that has been that way for 2 years...guess I might slip up from time to time. ;)

Yes thats right...forgot about 'Praha'
My spelling of it was probably just pure error...again, apologies to the 'purist' here...and also for any confusion it might bring. - i have gone from Producer to farmer, so Im a bit tired. :)
- But on a side note, it will be interesting to get verification on if there is or will be an office in Czech.

This thread should probably be in another forum...
But if RED is looking for anyone to work in the Prague office I have dual Czech and Canadian citizenship, with 10 years camera / support / lighting / audio / grip sales experience (hint, hint:-)
I also have years of (part-time) experience on set....from camera operator to 1st / 2nd AC, HD tech assist, location sound recordist (my role on set normally depends on the size of project). I plan to do some shooting in Prague this fall...
If the RED team is looking for someone...I figure the shameless self promotion is worth it!!!

I think I was a proofreader in a past life - I try to let things go, but occasionally it slips out! No need for apologies at all. Hope you get some rest soon. :clown2:
