RED hooked up to a telescope? Anyone try it?

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried using the nikon adapter and hooking their RED up to a nice telescope to do some intravalometer shots?

I'm not even familiar with what one sets their camera to for shots like this (I'll have to do some googling), but I was curious to see if anyone had tried it yet.

Was going to try it in a few weeks when mine arrives. I've got a canon adapter for my telescope, i'm going to have to find a Nikon one.
