Good day , we have problems with TL mode. We are loosing
frames when we are in TL mode. Shooting 1/2 Shutter , 1 fps .
Shoot is with Motion Control and we are making "Time Mixing Effect "
Problem is that on LCD in Drop Menu there is 0 , sow it is means that
camera is not loosing frames , but when we play back footage time in
25 fps is lease that motion was.
Today i want to shoot Time Code to found drop frames ,
I have question : can it because of CF cards , because in some Shoots
we loose 99 % frames , in some 40 . Did i need to try with Hard Drive.
Footage was 3K 2:1 , also 4K 2:1 same problem .
Any ideas ?
I will post later result of shooting of time code .

From this description it suggests you have some bad CF media, but have you tried recording at normal speed to see if this is somehow TimeLapse specific?

Can you also retrieve the .LOG file from the camera.

We have 15 cards , we try 5-6 cards , same problem .
Now i shoot time code from second camera screen .
In 3 minutest in TL with 1/50 shutter i lose about 5 frames.
Also when i am in 1/2 shutter , in some case after REC time code can stop , and camera is not record , after it i need to format card , and then it is ok.
Now i am waiting from HadrDrive and will test with it .
I will send you log file , but i have no log files from CF that i use yesterday . Sow i will shoot new TL and will make LOG .

Same problem with HardDrive . Also i try with 2 camera , same problem .

Then you have a unique issue - multiple CF cards, RED-DRIVE and 2 cameras all have the same issue - that's got to be a systems level issue.

How are you playing this back?

In RedCine and RA , also in camera. Problem is that when you are shooting normal static TL you can not understand that you lose some frames ,
but when your TL is depends on duration we found it . Also with 1/2 shutter i am loosing more frames that with 1/50 shutter ,
but i can not shoot TimeCode from scree with 1/2 shutter , and can not calculate number of lose frames. Today we have 1 more shoot ,
and i will make log file and will send it to you .
Also question ? Shutter mode : can it be problem of shutter mode ?
May be i am not lossing frames may be i am lossing shutter ?.
