I just posted a clip from HYBRID, the film that John Leonetti, ASC shot up in Canada using the RED ONE Digital Cinema Camera. Unfortunately, the clip I received was compressed with the DVCPRO/HD codec at 843x480 and recompressing to h.264 for the web introduced some gradient artifacts. Having said that, the clip is from a dark scene shot in some kind of garage at night and the power of the RED ONE to capture the subtleties of John's lighting is very impressive.
Take a look over at http://hdfilmtools.com

Awesome clip. I could clearly tell it was RED. It just has this odd clarity to it that seems to always come through except in a few cases of heavy post manipulation.

Love it! I know what you mean about the compression, I'm guessing the source looks pristine.
Do you know anything about the lenses used?

Yes, John used the Cooke S4's (http://www.cookeoptics.com/cooke.nsf/secondary/s4prime)

Sure. It would be great if you could pass along to as many UK viewers as possible.
Also, congratulations on getting the camera and best of luck with it!
