Does anyone know what causes the "Audio Fault Error" message? I am currently working on a commercial in Build 16. When I checked the particular take that the "error" occured on, the quicktime proxies were missing from the folder, but the R3D file(s) were there? Able to open the take in Redcine and the footage is all there, but no proxies. Any help would be appreciated.

if you get the sound from an external source, lower the "volume" of the signal...
I got the same playback error, audio fault, and I have no sound connected, when I changed the hardisk, the problem solved. what does that mean?

When you can, move up to Build 17.
In Build 16, you may see this error occasionally with on-camera playback, but the audio data has been recorded fine.
