Duplicated files...

Hello.
Having some trouble with duplicated files...
Is it possible that the camera generates this duplicates?

I get mov-files delivered to me from a post production lab.
the movfiles created from the redfiles looks like this:
A001_C001_12349X_001.mov

And to some files looks like this:
A001_C001_12349X_002.mov
A001_C001_12349X_003.mov
A001_C001_12349X_004.mov

And when I look at them they contain the exact same material as the first file
ending with 001.mov
but some times there isnt a file ending with 001.mov but only 002.mov
and then the 002.mov i uniqe....

Any body know of this phenomenon?

I think the post production lab is doing something wrong. The camera generates _001, _002 etc .R3D files, but they are actually all the same clip, and the RED tools will automatically link them together as a single clip.
