View Full Version : Is it REDLine bug?

When I try to render using RedLine with a footage TOD starts at midnight and ends next day, unable to render my edits.

Is there any other solution for this kind of TOD situations. In discussion with Rubber Monkey team and still they are unable to find a workable solution. Thoughts from Red team are welcome apart from asking me to work with Edge-code, which I am doing now but for this kind of situations what will be solution for TOD.

Can't help there.

Can you post the output of REDline -i filename --printMeta 1

for the file that's having a problem?

No EDL system in the world can deal with this situation, as until now any tape-based system will throw a minor fit when LTC clicks over from 23:59:59:xx to 00:00:00:00.

I'd be glad to hear any solutions thrown up for handling it but what I've always done is (during night shoots, anyway) advised heads of department that if at all possible avoid rolling over that midnight threshold - saves a lot of headaches.
