These are my NAB 2007 Red Booth photos. Shot on Ilford HP5 400, rated at 320 and flashed with x-rays by airport security before and after the film was exposed. Camera is a 1986 Leica M6 Classic with a Leitz 35mm m-mount lens. F2 or F2.8 for pretty much everything.

This one needs no introduction. I love you, Red One Camera.

Best of NAB 2007. The old guy is Carl, the father of this pack of geniuses.

My first still photos, in 1969 with the new Nikon F I bought in Hong Kong, were black and white. I loved B & W then, and I still love it for it's "look & feel". BTW - I still have that Nikon F, and occasionally still shoot with it.

Thanks for posting those!

In high school back in the 70's I was on the yearbook staff as a photographer. We shot only B&W and I spent a ton of time in the darkroom. I swore I would set up a darkroom in my house one day...more than 30 years later I still haven't done it! Everytime I see someone doing B&W I get that urge again.

I just hope we all get a chance to hang before next year's show when it requires a sleep over in line to get into the red booth.

Sorry , I should say that its worth pondering what qualities these photo's have that people like about them given they are shot on film.

I shot that first one through the gap in the fabric of the tent when I first got in line on Tuesday. The line went all the way around the tent.
