When your number is called, will you be able to complete your purchase? (Rez holders only)

Are you going to struggle? or are you looking to find potential other sources for red camera's?

I'd be happy to look at helping any UK early to mid reservation holders meet their costs as part of a share till my number comes up...

I'm wondering if RED have a built in expectation ratio with regards to number of solid reservations against number of reservations made in haste? It's gonna be an interesting thing to see just what kind of percentage of the RED Core actually take charge of their reservation # on time and fully paid up.

Cheers,
Mark

Unfortunate you are not allowed to auction your reservations on ebay.

A years' production already reserved is more than enough margin to work with.

If worse comes to worse. I'll get the RED and purchase accessories in the future. It's the add ons that are killing me. Arri MB & Focus puller $11,000, Oconnor 2060 and stix $10,000

You can count on it my loan agent is already doing the paper work for an equity loan on my house.

My 3 RED's will come home fully dressed and ready to shoot some movies.

I wish all the best for all of you REDuser reservation olders, every one of you deserves such a tool to tell your story.

Ciao,

The Arri MB is one of those things that hurts only once (when you pull out your wallet)... instead of saving a bit of cash and it hurting every time you use it (a cheap mattebox)

Jarred, I agree. The format of this camera is seemingly future-proof and it seems silly not to invest in an accessory package (ff, mattebox) which will not last as long as the camera. I was originally thinking about grabbing a cheaper package, but thinking realistically about future projects I think it's a better bet to worry about loosing funds now, do it, and never have to worry again.

I have to vote maybe, but only because nothing in life is totally abolute. I don't think I'll have a problem. but five months is along time

I hope so. Business hasn't been too good lately, but I'm working on it.

Yep, as long as the Irony Angels aren't listening. Pesky and cruel, them.

Sure, but what are we going to do with it when the Red MB comes out?

Nothing as the Arri one will last forever!
