what are the max framerates we can achieve to the Drive, Ram, Flash, Express, and SATA in 4K, 2K, 1080 and 720? Can we attach a SATA Raid to the SATA port and by doing so can we achieve higher framerates?

EDIT: I know this: http://www.red.com/formatoptions.shtml but I wondered if the rates differ for the different types and can you truely do 30fps 4K to all format options as well as 60fps 2K framed to all options and would a faster SATA make a difference.

The format options chart is the most current, accurate list there is.

A faster SATA would not make a difference - the bottleneck in the pipeline is the compression processor.

The framerates do differ depending on format. The maximum framerate for each format is listed on that chart.

I'm wondering if this processor, that converts images into redcode raw, has the possibility of an upgrade later on down the line? (such as the upgrade Red just did to reduce noise and increase the dynamic range) So 4k 60fps can eventually be captured to redram or a reddrive?

Also, what is the datarate limit of the drives, ram, etc. So, even if there was a speed increase of that processor--if the drives can't handle it you still wouldn't be able to write it.

most likely the reddrive wouldnt be fast enough. but I know there is compact flash and sata flash that have a minimum sustained transfer rate of 45mb/sec. so if you stripe 2 together you would have at least 90mb/sec.
