Just wondering if anyone has used a Red Camera as playback to a Panasonic 1400 deck for a client to walk away with a tape?

I used one that was being fed the Picture from the red and the audio from the sound dept so the director could watch playback with audio (doing double system sound).

Obviously you have the look around area, record indicator and clip and time code info recorded onto the tape.

i used to have a client that did not want to change their post, so i used to record like that: hd-sdi to deck and sound directly to deck also. there was a visual delay, but, somehow, it all came together on the deck without having to do any adjustments later. on build 16 something changed, now they have this grey (look around) area around the picture, which is a problem. I called red support and they suggested i record onto the camera and then play back to the deck, which worked, except for one little detail, there was no sound. apparently the hd-sdi has no sound. who knew. we ended having to use the stuff on the hard drive, and, luckily, the client learned how to deal with the red stuff, so now we just shoot the normal way.

Thanks for the help and sound will not be an issue since I will be shooting at 100+ fps.
