Love the X-Bow, but alas not for the US. There's a guy in my neighborhood that's been driving around with one that's similar, but I can't remember who makes it. I've seen it in magazines, but I can't remember what it is...very similar, however, the XBOW is better looking.

Seein' as how I have Red #351 on order, there can be only one car to go with it... I give you the 1971 BOSS 351 Mustang... in red of course.

lol.. I worked over at Tesla for a couple months. Cool car but I didn't fit. 6'4" is outside of their design specs I guess.

I already looked into buying an Atom over here(AUS). Australian Government make it extremely hard to import cars like these. A company in Sydney is hopefully doing it next year, but it's goin to be over $100,000. About $40,000 of that is Tax. You can buy them in NZ for about $60,000. :-(. I wish our Government would get with it.
Would love an electric one

Hi Paul,
The Ariel is made here in Ashland, Oregon. I like chasing them up and down Dead Indian Road (no I'm not kidding) on my friends Ducati 749SS.

It must be the Atom. Just saw it again today on the same road at about the same time that I've seen it twice this week. Somebody is tormenting me.
I so much want a proper sports car again. My wife recently made a deal with me.... Sportscar or keep buying film gear.... what do you think I chose? :)
My name is Jason and I'm RED #366 :)

That is the best paint...or lack of paint job ever. There have been a couple of prototype BMW's and Mercedes that have done something similar with actual paint, but I have yet to see one, even though I know an aftermarket job that runs $30k + to make something similar.
Then again, nothing beats polished aluminum or steel....at least for looks. Might be hell to keep up.

Hey Jason,
Bring you RED to Ashland and convince Ariel they need to shoot some proper Hi-Rez promo footage. I can't think of a easier car to mount a rig on. I would be HAPPY to assit (it is a two seater) and know all the best canyon roads. lol

Hey Chuck. If I can hold this all together and get the camera as planned let's see if we can do that in all seriousness. I'm not a shooter, but I would be willing to come up that way and bring the camera if I could just get a quick spin in one of the cars. You can shoot and I'll assist. :)
I'm due for a trip to Seattle and then a run along the coast, so getting to Ashland shouldn't be a problem.
Keep in touch....no, really.
Best,
Jason

I can see a few places to mount a RED RAID. :)....although that may be laking the industrial design of RED.

well now, that's just too practical. :)
Maybe we can build one of these to snap on and off of an Atom of X-Bow. :)

I need a new car, but I'm buying a RED instead. Therefor, my 2000 ford focus will be the perfect car with red:
I have no antenna, it broke off with ice fell off the roof. The shiftlock release malfunctioned a while ago, so I had to drill a hole in the shift housing so I can squeeze a finger into the mechanism to manually release the lock to shift out of park. The rear wiper blade doesnt move. The ignition will only turn if you compress the break petal and pull the wheel to the right hard (HARD). Its only got 4 cylinders, so with 4 people, a bunch of gear, and the AC on, it will not go up hill. Period.
Its going to be awesome.
