DAYS OF HEAVEN screening in LA, Nov 12th

For those of you who appreciate fine cinematography (and who here doesn't), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is hosting a 30th Anniversary screening of Terrence Malick's DAYS OF HEAVEN November 12th, 7:30 PM at it's Samuel Goldwyn Theater with a new print from the Academy Film Archive.
If you want a chance to get a good look at Nestor Almendros' Academy Awarding-winning cinematography, it doesn't get much better than this. And tickets are only $5.00!

When you go, could you see if there are any plans to host a subsequent screening on the East Coast? Otherwise, my ticket would be something to the tune of $405.

Fantastic film. Any idea if they made the new print to match the recently updated transfer for Criterion? Not as golden, a little more natural. Still fantastic.

This also reminds me how jealous I am that somebody already named their camera "Nestor."
