Hey everyone... I would like to introduce you to one of the newest members to the Red team, Noelle.
http://www.reduser.net/forum/uploaded/1_1177701006.jpg
Well hello there Noelle....
Phil Becque
04-27-2007, 12:14 PM
Welcome Noelle - I think it's only fair to tell you that we're all 'nuts' as Jarred says. The fact that you're a total Babe hardly needs mentioning but at least you can bask in the glory of youth !
All the best, Phil
I dont know what Im impressed with more, Your exquisite mesh lighting, Noelles good looks or that 959! (Or the RED.. sensory overload)
Sanjin Jukic
04-27-2007, 12:17 PM
Hi Noelle, welcome to the RED team and on the forum too. You look beautiful.
Álex Montoya
04-27-2007, 12:17 PM
Hmmm... I talked to her through the phone yesterday. She's very kind.
Noelle
04-27-2007, 12:20 PM
Hello REDUSERS!
Hope you like my "edgy" picture of me, with the coolest camera in the world!
If you have called the RED Office in the past, It was probably me that answered.
My name is Noelle but, you guys can call me HOMEGIRL!
Wassup Homegirl!
Glad to have you on-board!
Ryan Manes
04-27-2007, 12:23 PM
Wouldn't it be great if all Red employees had to strike that pose and take a glamor shot? :sarcasm:
How funny would it be to see Ted and Graeme or even Jim in that shot. :)
Clayton Harper
04-27-2007, 12:24 PM
Can she stop looking hot and get to work on those upgraded processor boards already?!?
Wait, was she at the NAB booth?
wshultz
04-27-2007, 12:28 PM
I get it. Jarred is making a Red calendar to raise money for accessories.
Phil Becque

That's a very disturbing thought please put it away at once. This is a family show etc etc

What's sad is that when I saw the name of the thread, my first reaction was "sweet, new prototype!"
Phil Becque
04-27-2007, 12:32 PM
So Noelle - what's your role exactly ???
Phil Becque
04-27-2007, 12:33 PM
I get it. Jarred is making a Red calendar to raise money for accessories.
Yeah - 2 down 10 to go !

04-27-2007, 12:33 PM
I see most of the posters are ................. hmmmm...
Forget, what I wanted to say, basic question that we should ask, what Noelle's function will be if I may ask?
David Dennis
04-27-2007, 12:35 PM
What's sad is that when I saw the name of the thread, my first reaction was "sweet, new prototype!"
You're not alone. Me too :-).
But Noelle is indeed a stunning addition to the Red Family and that's certainly a calendar-grade picture.
As far as I know, though, the only Red calendar donors would be Kelly and Noelle - everyone else is male :-(.
Am I right?

Hope you like my "edgy" picture of me, with the coolest camera in the world!

Don Woods
04-27-2007, 12:44 PM
Damn Noelle. . . Very nice to meet you.
Jarred the that pic is a little distracting I can't seem to focus on the camera... I mean not that I want to.
Jaime Vallés
04-27-2007, 12:48 PM
Welcome, Homegirl! I too was expecting a prototype of some sort... but I don't think anyone here will complain about the pic!

04-27-2007, 12:56 PM
Noelle,
Just to give you an idea of how bored guys are on this board, you have spun 3 pages of postings in less than 20 minutes. I gotta say you rock, though! Let's know how you intend to make this place rock even more!
Kelly
04-27-2007, 12:56 PM
wouldn't you like to know!

04-27-2007, 01:03 PM

Hey everyone... I would like to introduce you to one of the newest members to the Red team, Noelle.

OK, that's COOL! I want a picture of me like that!!
Howdy Noelle!
Medavoym
04-27-2007, 01:06 PM
Noelle,
I find it outrageous that on a serious forum like REDUSER.NET, we are posting sexy pictures like that. This is a camera-related forum and I find this quite disturbing. And, frankly, what Jarred did I think it's a bit insulting to all of us red users. I will post a formal complaint at once.
Now, I had all of you for a moment, right? OF COURSE I am kidding!! Noelle, you are superhot and I hope down the road I will have some extremely complicated problems with my order so I'd have to call and talk to you for hours, trying to sort it out :-)
Jag Sandhu
04-27-2007, 01:09 PM
What camera?
Alex Boothby
04-27-2007, 01:10 PM
Wouldn't it be great if all Red employees had to strike that pose and take a glamor shot?
Meet Homeboy...
ericyoung
04-27-2007, 01:17 PM

Hmmm. Now is that a coy answer to my TRIO question?

PMascetta
04-27-2007, 01:47 PM
Does anyone else find it extremely funny how tight of a "red" shirt she was given.
Andrew Benz
04-27-2007, 01:48 PM
Homegirl is quite beautiful and Matt just projects that "blue steel look" ;-). But the camera, gearhead and Tex have me over the moon as well. RED you satisfy both the ying and yang. My inner geek is fully actualised!
BTW, thanks Matt for all the incredible work.

Never ceases to amaze me how quickly the forum can turn from intelligent technical discussion to drooling "she's hot" talk. On a dime.

A girl, a car and a powertool?
RED: The future of cinema? Or autoshop calendar? I'm hoping for the former.

It's Friday night... end of the day...I'm sitting in my studio drinking a gin and tonic... I open up reduser to see what's new...
WHAM... I GET HIT WITH THE NOELLE AND KELLY SHOW. I must say you two (or is it TRIO) and this thread remind me of the days I used to shoot centerfolds...
I can see the RED marketing brochures now... a retro look with a mechanics shop wall with pinups and calendars of Noelle fondling a 300mm lens and Kelly with a sexy, devilish grin punching the keys of an old cash register.
(She sent me two emails today - you thing that means somethng?)
Actually it could be the same gas station the "MilkGirls" were shot in... OMG!

We shot the spider footage you saw in the NAB booth in the presentation on that eleven. Awesome equipment. Never had the pleasure to work with a ten though....
The 10 is basically the 11 on steroids... it's just wider, heavier and more stable with a greater boom reach. It can also support more accessories... like the awesome model 23 jib [21 feet... sets up almost instantly] or their more significant crossarms.

Heavier and more stable? Is that possible :) Was already quite impressed with the boom range on 11, thing goes up HIGH. Maybe I need to redefine my impressive feature list ;)
With a jib or steadicam on there you can definitely get some interesting moves....

Yea, the 10 is a beast, but it is my prefered dolly unless we are in tight spaces. The added stability really only comes to in to play when you mount a jib though. The 11 is borderline w/ a jib.

I am not a fan of reality TV - but having met most of the RED Team - can I just say .... what an AWESOME cast of characters - and what an AWESOME reality show there could be!!
Forget a couple dudes making choppers ... or pimpin' out some old beat down house ... the RED TEAM makin' a 4K camera has great reality tv show potential ....

Only dorks like us on a forum like this could derail a thread about women and make it about dollies.

Hey everyone... I would like to introduce you to one of the newest members to the Red team, Noelle.
Heh...you know, in my early 20's I worked as a cameraman at a music video station by day and spun records in a strip club at night. I can never decide whether Red's PR image is closer to the former or the latter. ;-)

What's sad is that when I saw the name of the thread, my first reaction was "sweet, new prototype!"
I was thinking exactly the same thing :clown2:

Hi Jarred,
like I needed one more excuse to visit Lake Forest!
Noelle after seen you as new hire at RED, I believe that including the other girls of the RED Team I had the placer to meet, Jim could make a perfect Casting Director for Victoria Secret.
Ciao,

It could be called: Pimp my Red. or something, with a mashup tagline of "What happens when people stop being polite, and start revolutionizing digital cinema". Big Red brother? Or instead of Making the Band, as simple as Making the red... Overhauiin' the industry? Well, a million options for names, you guys are surely more creative anyway.
On a more serious note, I sincerely do hope someone is making a documentary about the Red process.
