Last Friday we finished the last shot for episode 36 of the swiss tv-series "Tag&Nacht".

After 140 days of shooting, we had two Reds running nearly nonstop 10 hours/days. We roughly shot a total of 270 hours in 4k. We had only one hard-drive die on us, we dropped one camera, but it still worked with it's drive plug forced into the housing:bye2: . We never had a downtime last much longer than a re-boot. Being able to fly a RED on my ActionCam for 7 Months was a beautiful experience!

The crew was fantastic we had a great time - a time I will always remember.

On set the images looked the same color - and the RAW files were the same anyway.

Because output had to be fast, they decided to process ALL the footage into prores 1080 before going into post and use thes files as "originals" for delivery - needed a lot of storage (like any tape workflow), but worked.
