What is the bottomline in terms of accessories and price to get a red one
camera, minus lenses, ready to shoot?

And to edit, will a G5 quad mac suffice? or is it necessary to have intel
processor?

And lastly, seeing as I am working in Norway, does the RED ONE need an
electrical adapter/converter to 220V

thx

You'll need a RED ONE body, a RED-Drive, a battery and some viewing device. A bare minimum setup (minus lenses) could cost around $20, 000 - $25, 000. You'll also want a mic, and the RED rails as well...

Last we heard is that if you order now it will be delivered in Spring 2008, but things change all the time.

You also need a charger to go with the battery. The viewing device will probably need to be either the EVF or LCD. Unless you are going to monitor on a large LCD display on-set or something.

Also, Quad G5 should be fine for editing and such but of note, REDCINE is intel only.
