Hi all....first time poster here. We are using a Scratch primarily for RED & Film work, but last week attempted to work on a video job, and realised that the field dominance was back-to-front. Could not find the options to flip dominance anywhere accept in shot config. which had no effect. Any ideas?

Cheers guys.

Your best bet for quick answers, especially to non-Red related Scratch questions, is to join the Scratch user list on google groups. Send a request to anyone at assimilate for info on how to join.

Answers will come here, but you'll probably get 'em faster on the Scratch list. I've sworn off of fields for years now, so I can't be of any help, unfortunately. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've every put anything with fields through Scratch... ever! Weird...

Might not be the best solution, but look out for the freeware app "JES de-interlacer" at http://www.xs4all.nl/~jeschot/home.html

It has saved my behind on a number of occasions - very quick and straight forward. Lets you do batches and uses all processors out of the box.

To shift field order, simplest way is to move the entire video up or down 1 pixel in it's frame. Dunno if that helps you though...
