So, I was going to take the plunge and buy a RED One a couple weeks back, but due to the pound going down the drain, it now works out to be around £4,000 more expensive than it was before, and that's without taking import tax into consideration. Friggin' recessions.

now you know how we felt for the past year when importing equipment from Europe...I think the dollar just re-balanced itself. You guys enjoyed a long period when the dollar was way off its mark imo.
Bottom line is you cant have it all...when the dollar is high, your goods are a value overseas and vice versa.

Exactly. Put the down payment now and wire when the £ is good... The dollar was so crap when I bought it, I got my Red for the price of a Scarlet... Epic might cost me a Porsche though... :(
