Both of those configurations are way to front heavy Kino. But you're right there is hope. The combination of an Epic 5K S35 Brain, I/O module and one or more battery option plus a properly mounted shoulder assembly and side mounted wireless remote look to be right at the balance point Brook and I were trying to convey. All in all it's a very exciting announcement. What would be really exciting is if Red announced a spacer that let you customize the distance between modules allowing you to maximize the weight distribution, say by moving the I/O+Battery module behind the shoulder pad.
This image is the closest...

Just imagine the I/O+battery behind the shoulder pad and the pad lower.
It would be a simple accessory too, just a shielded cable and an adjustable rail.

Without knowing weights of the modules, it's reckless to make such authoritative statements.

Wow exciting times...

Would you want to use these connectors in an average configuration ? they seem to be in a bad place for hand-held....

I think it's (Left to right):
- New style Power connector
- GPI / GPO
- Single link HD-SDI

So without th IO and battery module you do want to have a connector there...

From some of the stills, looks like you can get the lens down to shoulder height, which is great for me. I'm 6'2", so anything much higher starts looking a little odd when doing handheld of a normal person.
