Red’s products are truly and constructively trendsetting, but the naming policy is ironically inconsistent.
I'd like to turn this irony into a job opportunity with J.J., even if only on a short-term consulting basis. I'm a maverick myself, planning to relaunch a freelance writing business, after years of writing on spec and living on savings.
In any case, I plan to buy a Scarlet and a Red Ray.
I'd earlier sent the above to Red.com, but it apparently didn't transmit. Then I realized I’d made a spacing error, ironic for a writer. I'm humble enough to acknowledge my own ironies, and I plan to literally focus on irony for a living.

You want him to pay you to name his products?

I'm as inclined to invite constructive criticism as to give it, but these responses are disappointingly questionable.

Dave,
I would go to http://www.red.com/contact_us and use the "Jobs" button.

Martin,
Already done, but thank you nevertheless. After another thread noted an e-mail glitch that had been fixed, I reworded and resent my message. Although I haven't gotten a reply, I still look forward to the new products.

I'd pursue other opportunities while waiting for that reply. Also, hasn't maverick recently been retired as a choice buzzword for at least a couple of years?

Noah,
I'm already looking into other opportunities, some similarly unsolicited, because I've been a maverick since before it was a buzzword, which maybe I should've noted previously.
