Scarlet, RED ONE and EPIC specs...
These are the "tentative" format specs for each model.
EPIC has a larger body than Scarlet to house a more complex "electronic engine" and heat management system to handle the faster frame rates.
Jim
Thanks for the more detailed informations.
Some question I hope you can answare.
Looking at the table I can think that all the EPIC brains shares the same electronic board in fact the resolution/fps proportion is manteined Coherently for all the produc line
Bigger the sensor size higher the resolution you can get but at a slower max fps.
All the EPIC brains have a baseline at 2K at max 200fps.
Is this also true for SCARLETT product line? Probably Not.
The S35 and the FF35 seam to have differents electronic board inside, the FF35 is able of the same fps but at a 1K more of the S35.
S35 5K, 1-30fps ... FF35 6K, 1-30fps.
A more complex "electonic engine" actually is inside the SCARLET FF35? And if so why the S35 can't benefit of it?
A SCARLET S35 capable of more fps would be welcome.
