Can we expect Epic (and possibly R1) to support LDS?

Epic should be nice with LDS support, especially if Master Primes longer than 16mm cover the FF35 sensor entirely in 6K.
Do you confirm this Pawel?
This would make the FF35 and MP the conbination of choice for a good number of high-end projects.

I'm pretty sure that all longer MPs will cover FF35 in Scope at full 6k, and wider MPs should at least cover 30mm (5k) wide image.

Thanks Pawel,
Do you think ARRI Australia could confirm some of this?
I could ask ARRI in europe but I am not yet a customer so, you stand more chance to collect the right information.

According to the Red Team, LDS is a proprietary closed system, unlike Cooke's "i" system... which is why we see "i" support but not LDS on Red One.
Arri cameras support both because one ("i") is open and the other (LDS) is their own system. Unless Red can persuade Arri to license LDS, I can't see how they could implement LDS support.
Cheers,
Harry
