Nomadic, I gotta say this reserves thing bugs me as well. I'm not sure where our ship will be be landing or rather, getting into the reserves planet. It's something that red needs to look into :ranting2:

Nomadic: if you haven't ordered a camera yet then I would expect delivery somewhere in 2008 (best guess I can do at this point in time).

Rob, that is the old NAB schedule before Jim announced you guys are slipping the schedule, by an undisclosed amount. Why is that schedule even up anymore?

Per another of Kellys post your reservation number is not associated with the actual serial number of your camera if you ordered at NAB or after. Only reservation holders that where before NAB actually have numbered slots for there actual camera. So this means you could be high on the list or lower. I'm sure you will be told as soon as the ingest everything and they see where everyone is at.

Thanks Jarred. When you say new orders, do you mean orders placed today, or do you consider all orders starting with the NAB ordering window to be new?

In my case, I ordered 3 reds the second the order page came up on the red site the first day of NAB, approximately 9:15 AM pacific. If there were 1475 reservations before NAB, my cameras should be number 1500 or lower. According to the Red site, orders 1001 to 1700 are estimated to ship this October.

Is there a decent chance they'll ship my reds in October?

That schedule is no longer good. As Shawn already said, I'm not even sure why that schedule is still up on their site.
