I just wanted to throw it out there before RED makes thousands of I/O modules that it would be nice if the ports angled down and back.

We had this discussion before the new bodies were announced, I hope we don`t need to start it all over again... The old Epic had plugs that were angled to the side, angled downwards and back like you said would be perfect.

Plugs that are angled back would be great.... You guys had it pretty good on latest pre DSMC Epic design.

Definitely. Angled outputs would be awesome. Just like the last EPIC render before the big shake-up.

Actually, I would hope for non-sunken in bnc connectors on the I/O, that is such a pain on the panasonic 2/3" cameras in the back. They're so far in that you can barely grip them to twist them out, and sometimes it's necessary to put a bnc angled adaptor on. Now, that may not be the end of the world to have to do, but I really hope those connectors aren't sunken in too far. Angled would be even better.

I know I might be shot for suggesting this, but I'm actually quite fond of the ET HD-SDI BOB on the RED One, the reason why I like it is because if someone really jacks up one of the connectors, I could easily pull it off and replace it really easy in the field. I bring this up so that the wizards at RED can make the full size connectors similar to the new lens mount (with 4 screws in the corner) so that you can swap it out.

Make the plugs module in such a way that it has DSMC connectors on more than one side, so it can be fitted upside down to put the ports on the left, or 90 degrees rotated in the horizontal plane so they point out the back (if used as the last module in the chain).
Covers more bases that way :)
