I'm just wondering if anyone has heard what Peter Jackson and his crew thought of the camera after they did their tests?
I've been looking on the net and can't seem to find a single comment where Peter gives his opinion.
I've seen the clip and the images look great, but I'd love to hear what people are saying who are shooting with it.. especially PJ.

He can uses a LOT of Red One camera's if he has a budget of 70 million dollars for a seemingly lowbudget drama that i guess isn't effects laden. I might be mistaken. Should read the book sometime as it's somewhere on a bookshelve here.

Sounds more of a drama, than a VFX-driven film. I'm not familiar with the book, though. His visual effects company, Weta, is going to be busy for the next 20 months or so working on James Cameron's sci-fi film, Avatar.

There's alot of dream type sequences in it including recreating some kind of heaven which will need CG. But yeah, it's not a Spider Man 3, if thats what you mean.
Their also working on The Dambusters, one of my friends is working on that, filming baby Lancasters
