Hmmmm,
don't think Red has too much to worry about.
Industrial Design is what I would call 'quaint'.

Yeah! Although I order my red too, but once you check out the FRAME SPEED & ISO,
then I think RED TEAM still need to do somethings, just my personal suggestion...

Is this actually shipping, anybody used it,seen any footage,or even seen one in the flesh.
I'm in danger of sounding like the Red Scam mongers in the early days, but it does sound a bit too good to be true.
Dreadful still shot,doesn't inspire confidence.
Tom.

We've discussed this before. It's nothing special. The camera is still a VERY rough product and there's probably only a few of them in any sort of working order around since it's BTO. I don't even know of any post workflow stuff that is available for it.

Hi Perry,
You're correct, very interesting stuff, sorry if I seem so prejudiced against Russian products it comes from my last encounter with them many years ago with the Zenith & Zorki 35mm still camera's,which were truly awful.I should be more open minded.
I wonder what the build quality is like. Also interesting that in some of the stills from the trade exhibitions they're doing, they show it alongside an Arri D20,obviously inviting a comparison.
Although I still think the design sucks.
Tom.

Good god, it looks like a freakin' sputnik-era toaster. And the website is circa 1996. Though I see big sales potential in the Ukraine.
