Will Red camera provide zebra feedback in the viewfinder or monitor? If so, can you dial in the percentages?
Thanks for any help.

They've said that there will be histogram and waveform monitors available in the EVF and monitor... so zebras on steroids. As for whether or not zebras will be included... I don't know. I'm sure somebody else does...

I thought I asked Stuart at NAB if there were going to be traditional zebras as well. I thought he said yes. I remember asking him if there was going to be an "aperture" control for the zebras (how wide an IRE range the zebra indicates). I prefer a 70%-100% aperture zebra on "zebra 1" and 100% and above on (typically, cross-hatched) "zebra 2." In my opinion, F900s default their zebras to a too-narrowly "apertured" range to something like 70%-80%, which I absolutely don't like.

We do intend to add Zebras to the exposure indication toolset, and when added they will have a wide (and adjustable) range.

Having said, that I think that you are going to LOVE the false color exposure indication in the EVF ... makes Zebras seem pretty restrictive ...

Thanks, I usually like my zebras set on 70-75% on my HDX-900. I never trust fully those EVF's.

Will it be similar/identical to the Accuscene equivalent... or has it evolved significantly?

Sounds awesome. I think its all about customization and visualization. I'm excited about all kinds of graphs and overlays. If only because most people on a set can't read a waveform. Its like you are looking directly at The Matrix. You're an operator ;)
Here is a question Stuart, how hard will it be to toggle between these displays, and a clean image? Is this a go-into-the-menus type of thing or a hit-one-button while you are rolling type of thing?

I can't wait to take a peak at this. That will be such a huge tool.

I think you meant to spell it "peek", but no matter what way, kudos on a good pun!

We should be able to assign a button on the side of the RED-EVF to toggle these displays on / off. Perhaps also to scroll between a few limited choices. Its an area of UI refinement where we can get some valuable feedback from the earliest reservation holders.
