Avid machine specs

Am planning to edit a spot from ftg shot with Red. Don't need audio. Am currently on Avid 2.8 PC Adrenaline. I can upgrade to MC 3. Finish on Flame. I don't have the HD boards on the Adrenaline. Will I be able to rough cut this project on the Avid?

Yes. You can edit it in MC software if you wanted to.
