Morning/Evening/<what ever time of day it happens to be at your place> folks.

Have somewhat of a problem here. Been trying RedRushes but it keeps spitting out these crippled quicktimes, DNxHD in QT wrapper. Please see the atached picture.

Anyone know what could be the reason?

Looks like you haven't updated the DNxHD codec

Oooh... It's a fresh install. Downloaded it from Avid last Friday. Will investigate that further, maybe they have some old versions on their DNxHD pages. :waaa:

Thanks for the tip!

Go to avid.com/red and download the quicktime codec from there.

http://www.avid.com/red/AvidCodecsLE_DMG_1.10.zip (mac)
http://www.avid.com/red/AvidCodecsLE_MSI_1.10.zip (windows)

Media Composer 3.0.5 is not enough.

The v1.10 DNxHD QT codecs as well as all things Avid +ED related can be found on www.avid.com/red. The codecs can be found on the Avid resources tab.

It happens to me as well.
It some how depends on where the source matirial is. If I output to the same disk as the source everything is fine if not wierd stuff hapens. Will further investigate and update.

Hum... Oki. I went to the DNxHD page. Thought that would be updated to? =/ That page linked me to:
http://avidtechnology.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/avidtechnology.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=75079

And now i see a reference to 1.10 down there... But just thought that it would take me to the latest one. Oh well.. Never mind. I have installed 1.10 but have the same issues.

Tried to render to same disk as the source now. Same same. Still doesn't work. And now with 1.10 codec. Guess I'll have to try at another computer to. :detective2:
