Nikon D400?

Hey guys, just looking around and I noticed Nikonrumors.com has some rumored specs on a Nikon D400.

Basically the rumored specs are:

- 14 megapixels (some say 16 is more accurate)
- DX Format
- 1080p 24 D-Movie Mode
- $1,999 price tag

It's pretty tempting if it does turn out to be true. I'm not sure I'd trade in my D90's for it unless it is leaps and bounds better and with little to no overheating issues (ie. I can get by with just one camera versus having to swap halfway through the day's shoot). But then Scarlet is on the way for Summer '09 after all, so what do you guys think about there being this option if it is for real?

I feel nikon somehow is acting slow... I dont know about you, I used to have a N80 (film) a F1 (Film) D100, D70, D200, D300 and then.. I had to buy the Canon 5D about 2 years ago. Now that we want to upgrade and you put side to side the Nikon D700 versus the new 5D MII the answer is pretty obvious.. and my strong feelings for nikon ask the same question over and over again.. what happened to you nikon?? what?? what happened?? You used to make me very happy.. but now.. I havent been able to go back to you anymore.
