Wow. That was a thorough tutorial. It's really selling me on Premiere that's for sure. (Especially as I'm already an After Effects devotee.)

This Is MAJOR ...
This was the day so many have been waiting for, I know I have and will build everything around these tools...
The Genie is out of the bottle & there is no stopping the Creative Under-Dogs any longer and with Scarlett around the corner this is The Pivital Moment when The Revolution Turned Into A Renaissance...
These guys ( Adobe ) are going to win over so many new users now and I am so glad for them! ... Good Show!
And the best of it all, for me at least...
IS THE F_KING CLEARITY OF IT...THANK YOU FOR DELIVERING US FROM THE LUNACY OF WTF-WORK-FLOW LIMBO.
DogDay.
This was the day the waters parted so we could cross over to the other side without drowning !!! This was the day the field was truly leveled...Now its going to be down to pure creativity, ideas and their execution...This is the shift in the Paradigm for real...Here & Now Today.
DogDay.
This pretty much sums up the feeling.

I agree, that would be so much easier to watch since the overload keeps stopping the video, which is really informative. Also both their servers seem down as the links won't open anymore for me ;(

Agreed. Seeing this is definitely what pushed us over the edge to edit our feature in Premiere (vs. Final Cut). And the tight integration with After Affects is amazing.
However, be aware of the audio sync issues --in that there is NO audio sync via time code. Adobe completely fails to address audio TC, so all audio/video files must be synced visually (manually matching up waves to video on a timeline) --this is a massive shortcoming of the current version of Premiere.

To be fair to Adobe, is it even possible to have a straight WAV file with timecode embedded in it? Sure, OMF etc have provision for timecode, but a straight WAV is just an audio file, nothing more.
Please correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm not 100% sure....
