I've had a look through the Workflow Guide and watched the Tutorial video and the workflow looks excellent, but I can't help noticing 3K is kinda glossed over. So what's the best way to work with it? Assuming I'm outputting to 2K, I know how 4K and 2K footage in Premiere but nothing has been said about 3K.
Do I import the 3K at Full Res, drop it into a 2K timeline and resize? Do I do this in Premiere or After Effects? What if I have a timeline with 2K, 3K and 4K footage on?
I'm not a Premiere user BTW, but I'm looking for a way to move a FCP project to After Effects. My idea is to XML-it to Premiere, re-link to the R3Ds and then open in in AE.
