Looks nice, do you tryed to make shots where you keep moving people in focus. I only see fixed shot (trafeling shots with no follow focus of people or movements. ) How is the picture quality when you see it in HD 1280x720.
i would like to know. Can you show som pics without colorcorrection, natural like it was shot?

Robert, it wasn't I who made this video. This guy used a RedRock "Video DSLR Bundle" to keep the camera nice and steady. That's why you see only fixed shots, like you say. I'm guessing he had his D90 set up like this:

Just goes to show it's the people behind the camera that matter most. I thought they got a lot out of the D90. They probably shot it in a way that used it's strengths and avoided it's weaknesses. I like the video and I actually like the song too. The great thing about people posting music videos, aside from the Red or other camera technology is that I get exposed to some music I have never heard before. Cool stuff.

I would never have listened to that type of music but I watched it 2 times and the music seems so smooth and refreshing. The video was very well done all around. The Director could be full time at, directing, editing, or color grading.

It's like any other camera, if the subject moves, you've got to follow focus with them. The closest example of follow focusing with the D90 is literally 35mm film. The DOF is so naturally shallow that you almost need a follow focus with whips just to keep from shaking the camera as you focus. I've been working on a bare D90 and, unless I'm using a lens with VR on it, the camera will wobble a bit when there's a need to follow focus on someone. Hence why it looks better by not doing those kinds of shots, at least with the bare camera, with their setup it probably wasn't a problem at all.

I had nothing to do with the video by the way, I'm just letting you know what working with the D90 is like.

The picture quality in 720p is as you would expect, nice. It's not 1080p but it's nice enough as it is.

The colors are amazing right out of the camera. I like to punch things up in color correcting myself but I would say they're perfectly usable without color correction. Now, there are times when you'll have to bump up the footage or tone it back due to being unable to fully control the ISO and shutter speed, that's just a given at this point. But if you know the workarounds you won't have to worry too much about it.
