I just did a quick and dirty test with varied speeds and shutter angles.

Of course I didn't take very good notes. :-(

Is there a way to retrieve shot info relating to shutter speed and shooting speed? I don't see it anywhere in REDCINE or REDALERT?

Thanks in advance.

I just found it in the properties window in Adobe Premiere 4....
Good luck

I'd be happy to check it for you if a file is worth sending it to me; size wise....

cheers

Load your clips into REDRushes and select "Export CSV" from the File menu.
This will generate a file with all the available metadata.
There are no column headers, though, so you'll have to figure out for yourself which column is which.

Cheers,
Hans

if you are on a mac - you can use Red's Automator actions - which will show you the header -

Thanks guys. More undocumented yet very useful information!

In any case, The CSV info shows the project's time base, but not the speed the clip was actually shot at - which is the info I need...

One step closer though!

R3D Data Manager can give you access to all the header info for a file and output it in CSV, TXT or PDF formats.

The FPS of the shot is not recorded in the header info - just the project time base.
