That's half a terabyte with no moving parts, at 240 MB/s (I hope those really are bytes, not bits), the size of a laptop drive, with a SATA connector.
If money's no problem, make a RAID array out of these and then I guess it could store even uncompressed video on the fly. :sarcasm:
(ok, I know, uncompressed is pretty silly)
Anyway, things are moving very fast in this field. Pretty soon it would be feasible for RED to offer an SSD storage module option that's fast, cheap and big enough - pick three.
