I just noticed that portions of the FAQ page on the RED web site were updated yesterday (12/19). Thanks RED! The previous FAQ revision was dated April 29 (a lot of that dated material is still left), and a lot has changed since then! Obviously all info and specifications are still subject to change, but I'd suspect that a lot of this new info is close or relatively close to "lock down" status. Obviously some info is still sensitive and premature to release, but it will be cool when the specifications are locked down and the FAQ can be fully updated.
Those of us who are out in the field working with RED cameras every day are constantly being asked questions about RED One, Epic, and Scarlet. We usually take the time to answer them, but it will be way cool to have an updated FAQ page (along with the 12/3 brochure) to refer them to, so that we can concentrate on what we do – getting good images.
A big thanks to Big Jon and whoever else on RED Team who worked/ is working on updating the FAQ! Your efforts are much appreciated by us out here on the front lines shooting RED cameras...
